Congress Passes Scaled Down 9/11 Health Care Bill

The bill was scaled back, and then passed by unanimous consent.  The new version provides $4.3 billion over five years for health coverage to the 9/11 workers, instead of the original $7.4 billion over eight years. There are nearly 60,000 people enrolled in health-monitoring and treatment programs related to the 9/11 attacks.
