Robert Reich in the Huffington Post wrote,
"Not only is income and wealth in America more concentrated in fewer hands than it's been in 80 years, but those hands are buying our democracy as never before -- and they're doing it behind closed doors."
What we're seeing on TV and hearing on radio are political adds purchased with money from the wealthiest Americans telling us how they want us to vote. It's good for them but against the interests of the poor and middle class.
These are greedy people who feel no social responsibility; who do not see the image of God in their fellow man or woman; and, who are willing to turn the United States into a third world country with abundant cheap labor and a small autocratic ruling class.
Here is an example of the kind of news coverage that money buys.
I see us moving toward a new kind of fascism with an ideology of unregulated capitalism and materialism promoted hand in hand with Christianity. Is this ideology compatible with the teachings of Christ?
